Sorcha NaMoireach is what I fondly like to call my "Irish Name." NaMoireach is the unanglosized, ancient Gaelic form of Murray. Actually 'Murray' would be just 'Moireach' but Murray was originally MacMurray (The 'Mac' was dropped when imigrants coming to America tried to hide their irish ancestry) and the Gaelic for 'Mac' is 'Na' so there you get 'NaMoireach'. There's no ancient Gaelic for Sara cause it's a BIBLE name. Therefor I use Sorcha in its place. It's pronounced with a silent 'ch' so its said like the Japanese 'sora.' It's the closest name I could find to Sara. Anyway, sorry for boring you with the history of my name. I'll stop here. Jya-ne!!!
